  • Email Spam - From my own email address?!?

    Hi All,

I have recently started receiving spam mail - apparently from myself!!! It appears as if the message is coming from my own email address and I am not sure how to stop or block it.

I don't want to put my own email address into the spam folder as I won't be able to receive any emails then.

Does anyone have any ideas / hints / tips on what to do? I have pasted below an extract from the message source code in case it helps (I have changed my email address though).

Thanks in advance for any help!

Re: Email Spam - From my own email address?!?

This most likely seems to be a case of email spoofing which can be described as creation of email messages with a forged sender address. I would suggest you to raise a ticket with our technical team in order to get this addressed. Alternately, you can PM me your registered email address with us so I can create a ticket on your behalf.
