Configure Multiple RDP sessions from one user in windows 2008

By default windows 2008 allow one RDP connection to the server from a user.

You can enable more than one session for remote desktop from one user by following the below instructions.

    Login into server through RDP
Open Local group policy editor by navigating to Start -> Run and typing "gpedit.msc". Click ok.

Expand Computer Configuration -> Administrative Templates -> Windows Components -> Terminal Services -> Terminal Server -> Connections.

Right-click Restrict Remote Desktop Services users to a single Remote Desktop session and choose Properties. Select Disabled and click OK.
