How to Remove the Small Box Next to Email Recipients in Outlook

    Hello Everybody,

Ever wondered what the small box next to your email recipients represent in outlook? (If you have ever had them).

Ever thought this change came across after you updated skype? If yes, then you are right. It actually is the ONLINE status of your skype been shown on outlook.

Here is how you disable it:

Choose FILE in outlook --> choose OPTION --> People --> Under ONLINE STATUS AND PHOTOGRAPH'S disable DISPLAY ONLINE STATUS NEXT TO THE NAME and then click OK.

This will disable the small check box next to your recipient.

To remove the small box next to email recipients in Outlook, you can follow these steps:
    1. Open Outlook on your computer.
    2. Click on the "File" tab located in the top-left corner of the Outlook window.
    3. In the File menu, click on "Options" (or "Preferences" in some versions of Outlook).
    4. This will open the Outlook Options window. Look for and click on "Mail" or "Mail Options" in the left-hand menu.
    5. In the Mail settings, locate the "Compose messages" section.
    6. Within the "Compose messages" section, find the option that says "Show field codes instead of their values."
    7. Uncheck the box next to "Show field codes instead of their values."
    8. Click on the "OK" or "Apply" button to save the changes and close the Options window.
After following these steps, the small box next to email recipients in Outlook should be removed, and you should see the recipients' names instead.
