      I find it much easier to install WordPress using FTP. I have a Firefox extension called Fire FTP that makes installing WordPress very easy. However, if you are more accustomed to using cpanel please go ahead and use it since it is also good.

        The steps given are very concise although I never use sub-domains. I find that a sub-folder serves me better as I can use it on the same domain name with just a slash after the name. It also helps me avoid the inconvenience of setting it up like a different domain.
