  • Website Panel and Smartermail - Windows

we have 2 VPS with another provider, 1 VPS is a webserver with WebsitePanel and the other VPS is a mail server with Smartermail 6.
if we switch these over to you, how can you help us with a smooth move?

We can help you with the entire switchover process related to the migration. Please open up a support request & one of our technicians will take a look at this & get a broader insight on getting this done with the no or minimal downtime.

Sorry for the delay in getting back.

would you also be able to migrate the DNS Records exactly as they are and update them? The reason is that some domains have there own MX records or additional A records that need to be retained. also let's say we want to upgrade from Smartermail 6 to Smartermail 13 at the same time? how would that work?

Yes, we can help you with the DNS migration & will get the SmarterMail upgraded to the latest version too. It not a major task unless you want to opt for a different control panel such as Plesk which has entirely different file structure & other unlikely things in terms to the migration..

Great, that can be upgraded later anyway after migration. What will be the estimated time for setup and migration?

The migration time entirely depends on the volume/size of data & the network speed between your existing hosting provider & ours. If the speeds are good & data is less then the migration wont take much time to complete.
