I've been tasked by a client for upgrading his website to a Joomla 1.5. The current website is a static site. But looking at the control panel it only gives the option to install from scratch Joomla 1.0.12.

Can anyone please confirm the ease of a Joomla 1.5 install - ta

I'm used to simply using Fantastico to install on other hosts - and not experienced in manually installing and dealing with the ftp permissions problems that turn up in serching for joomla on these forums.

Currently the site is Pleask for windows 400mb disk space - 5GB bandwidth (oddly doesn't match with any plans available)
