  • DNP error when trying to add domain

    Hello,

    Helpless in this error.

    Is any one help, how to interprit the error given below :

    System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> System.Exception: Error executing 'ADD' task on 'domainname.com' WEB_SITE ---> System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: System.Web.Services.Protocols.SoapException: Server was unable to process request. ---> System.Exception: Could not create system user ---> System.Runtime.InteropServices.COMException (0x8007089A): The specified username is invalid. (Exception from HRESULT: 0x8007089A)
    at System.DirectoryServices.DirectoryEntry.CommitChan ges()
    at DotNetPark.DotNetPanel.Providers.Utils.SecurityUti ls.CreateUser(SystemUser user, RemoteServerSettings serverSettings, String usersOU, String groupsOU)

    Please suggest as I am not able to add new domain.

    Hello Robinson,

    This may help you to resolve the issue.
    1. Try to remove (or reduce) the prefix or suffix for anonymous web accounts in policy.
    Disable it from web policy DotNetPanel Documentation - Administrator Guide - Web Policy.
    or
    2. Check the Permissions.
    3. Check whether the domain is created in the IIS or not.
    4. If it is created then please delete the domain from IIS.
    5.Restart the IIS service & then try to create the domain.
