    Error when clicking on additional ftp user in plesk 11.5 in windows


    I have a windows dedicated server with plesk control panel version 8.6 was upgraded 9.5 & then to 11.0.9. After upgrading the plesk from 8.6 --> 9.5 to 11.0.9 some of my clients are not able to find the additional ftp accounts which they added in plesk earlier, but I am able to see additional ftp user on server under local users and groups. Also when they try to click on ftp users they get the following error

    This error in plesk is generally due to Plesk upgrade form Plesk 9.5.x to Plesk 11 which is the same in your case.
    Here's the resolution to this error ::

    www_root / httpdocs path in hosting table depends on register. So make sure that that www_root / httpdocs path is set correctly in Plesk database.

    Download and install navicat for mysql on the server where you are getting error >> open it and click file new connection mysql >> mention the name for connection I usually use plesk psa database hostname/ ip address should be localhost port nubmer :: 8306 , user name :: admin, password :: plesk control panel admin password.

    once done then connect to that database using navicat and expand it then select psa :: table and find the table sys_Users in side window :: then find additional ftp user which you for which you are facing the issues click on it :: find the column heading home and in that you will see the full ftp user path make sure that such path exists and it is correct C:\inetpub\vhosts. Please note that it path should be in the same register, i.e. if you have path in windows explorer C:\Inetpub\vhosts\ (capital inetpub), but in Plesk database, it is set to C:\inetpub\vhosts, it is not correct and should be corrected in Plesk database. Just edit it and make the changes it should be same as windows explorer in plesk database.

    Also Please note, that in PP11.5.30 additionally repair.exe is needed using cmd.

    C:\Program Files (x86)\Parallels\Plesk\bin\repair.exe --reconfigure-web-site -web-site-name

    I hope that using the above steps should resolve your issue.
