    ERROR 1130: Host is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server

    Hello,

    You might receive the below error while remotely trying to connect to a MySQL database from your machine :

    ERROR 1130: Host 'Your IP' is not allowed to connect to this MySQL server
    You will receive the same error when trying to telnet to the MySQL port from your local machine.

    In order to resolve this issue, you can allow your IP address to access to the MySQL server by executing the below command.

    -Access the MySQL server using the root password.
    -Type the below commands :
    use mysql
    GRANT ALL ON *.* to [email protected]'Your IP' IDENTIFIED BY 'your-root-password';
    FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
    You can also allow access to all remote IP's by executing the below command :

    GRANT ALL ON *.* to [email protected]'%' IDENTIFIED BY your-root-password;
    FLUSH PRIVILEGES;
