Issues with IIS Role installation on Server 2012

Hello Everybody,

Are you installing IIS Role on your server? have you known that you have all the required components with the resources and still are having issues with it? Even when you run the wizard as per its steps?

Here is the thing,
When you install IIS on your server, the system time on your server might be more than the current time by default (as per your timezone) which causes the conflict, it gives an error at the end stating that the feature could not be installed but does not provide you with the exact reason as to why this is happening.

Try and change your time-zone as per the current system time, if required reboot your server and try doing it again.

The conflict should be cleared out after that.

Thanks for the share. My friend was facing some issues despite having all the resources. She tried almost everything but was not able to find the solution. I guess this would help her out.

Is she choosing a .Net framework feature while installing IIS? as this is mainly concerning the same.

She can try it by not choosing the above feature or if needed she can try the solution provided.
