  • Email not working

    I am unable to receive any email on any of my email accounts for my Windows account. I can log in to my webmail, but I'm not receiving emails I have sent to myself, nor are they being forwarded to my gmail account. Please can you resolve this issue, as I was supposed to receive an important email yesterday which should have been sent to my chris[@]chriscollins.info account which I have not received. I have opened a ticket with support. Also, is it possible to retrieve any emails that have not arrived? Would they still be on the server?

    I'd really like this resolved, support have not answered my ticket, I need my email in working order and to know what has happened to anything I've been sent since it has gone down.

      It's been about 5 hours now and I have had no response other than an automated email from support.

        One of our windows system admin is looking into this problem but I don't see any ticket for your domain name on our helpdesk.

        If you have a ticket number then do let me know as that will help me to trace out why it is taking time to sort your problem.

            This has been sorted.

            Our windows system admin is replying to your ticket with the details but here is what he mentioned about the source of this problem.

            You had setup forwarders for your mailbox which were sending email on your gmail address. Gmail received spams which got forwarded but our IP was considered responsible for this. Mailenable disabled your smtp configuration due to the forwarders and your email service failed after that. No other mailbox had problem on the server and it was only your account which had this problem.

            Other details would be coming shortly in reply to your ticket.

              Thank you I haven't received the reply to my ticket yet, so don't know if you've covered it in that, but will any emails I have received since the problem be accessible?

                It should be there now in your inbox.

                You had problem with smtp service only so incoming emails ( pop3 ) should be there in your inbox.

                Update the ticket if you need some technical person to look into it.

                  Thanks very much I have replied to the ticket with a quick question regarding using redirects (i.e. if I could set up the same redirects again (to my gmail account) without a problem, or if I need to use a different email, or not use a redirect altogether.)
