If your website requires any of the Microsoft technologies such as ASP .Net and need an MSSQL database at the back-end, you are left with no option other than choosing a Windows Hosting package to host your website. On the contrary if your website uses MySQL and is developed using PHP, you may opt for Linux hosting package.
