I'm having problems with BOM (Byte Order Mark) in header email rejects. The BOM is appearing in the Content preview header inserted by SpamAssassin for my Mailman mailing list. It seems to mainly occur with iPhone users with gmail accounts. I can simulate the problem by constucting a test email with the BOM character sequence early enough in the email to get included in the Content preview header. Shouldn't this header get encoded to prevent the BOM character sequence from showing or is it a bug with SpamAssassin ?
