As we're a member organisation, the email mailing list looks like an easy way to email our members. However there appear to be a couple of drawbacks:
I'd appreciate any ideas on how to use this feature effectively!
- It doesn't appear possible to specify who can send to the list - anyone can send to it (including spammers)
- It doesn't seem possible to set Reply-to to the original sender; replies go to everyone on the list, which isn't ideal
- What happens when the list us switched off? Ideally emails would go to the list administrator, but this doesn't seem to happen
I'd appreciate any ideas on how to use this feature effectively!
