Most effective domain parking monetizatation method?

Hi just curious as to what you have found to be the highest eCPM generating method? Using a parked service or doing it yourself with banners pops and exits?

Google has Google Adsense for Domains Program, using which you can monetize your parked domains. I know some people who have been making nice income with this program. I haven't tried it myself though.

Well, I'm kind of new at all this but have heard of Parked Domains but could you explain a little more of what you are referring to please? Is this just creating a small site, parking it and just having a lot of Goggle AdSense Ads on it? Thanks

Domain parking is basically a concept in which a domain is purchased but is not used for a website or emailing purpose. It's just kept as reserve. Parked domains may or may not have a landing page on which Google ads etc. are displayed.

You can refer to the following URL's to understand more about Parked domains.

          Hi Lapunluyang,

I own about 200 domains, and most of them are parked. I have tried SEDO, Google parking, Whypark and Benepark for now, and I can say that Benepark works better for me that others, especially for new domains.

So you buy domains that people might think are useful so you can hog them and make money? sounds a bit trollish to me...

MaFtuk, if you are addressing to me,

no, I buy domains that already have back links, develop them, and they begin to get search engine traffic. And I place ads on them (Google Adsense, Amazon and so on).

Domains which seem to get good value are purchased and then developed for the purpose of selling. There is a slight risk involved in this as you never know how much value the domain can get and whether one will be able to generate the amount of revenue needed to continue the business.

What type of domain names are good to purchase for domain parking to earn money ? The short and catchy one's or the domain names having targeted keywords in it ?

It depends on the parking service you use:
                      1. If you use some kind of PPC parking serivces (Google paring, Sedo, Namedrive, etc...) you need a cathcy domain name or domain that was well developed before. It's quite difficult to catch such domain.
                      2. If you use parking services that make minisites (Benepark, Whypark) you just need a domain with some backlinks, or even a new one.

Thanks for the info. I just made a quick visit to the website. It seems to be a good website to monetize your domain with. So, they would create a minisite for you, set your ad codes and add their own ads on the minisite, right?

Are you sure that customers can actually get a good amount of money for such domains on these sites ? As far as I know, such domains aren't able to generate a good amount of money and hence it's better to stay away from such domains and look for other domains.

There is a high amount of uncertainties involved in earning through parked domains. One cannot be sure about the domain name that would delight a particular individual, hence you need to have a variety of domains that describe a particular niche. One must also compare the ratio of invested amount and profited amount. If you really wish to continue with this business, it is important that you reach out to as many people over the internet as possible. That is the only factor which would increase your chances of selling the domains off.

                              Yes, exactly.

I add about 10 of my domains there in the beginning of June, they are newly registered. After that I've add 10 more domains in the middle of June. And now I have 12.33 Euro in my Adsense account from 1 to 30 of June. So if it will go the same, I'll get my domains fee back in a year, but I expect at least twice more money, because the traffic is increasing (remember there are new domains without back links).

And now I'm addicted to buying domains with backlinks, I just can't stop. I buy 1-2 domains per day and park them at benepark. There are about 5-6 domains aready. It's like a fishing or gold mining. Yesterday I caught a PR4 domain

I hope these domains will earn more and faster. Will see )))
