Hosting a Proxy Website on Dedicated Server

I own several torrent sites, but now I am planning to host a proxy website on the same web server. The server specs are: 2GB RAM, 250 GB Disk space, about 2500 bandwidth. Since, my others sites are hosted on the same server, I would like to know what could I do to ensure the smooth functioning and optimistic performance of my web server.

If you are a non-technical person and not familiar with the dedicated server functioning, I would recommend you to opt for a managed hosting service as the hosting provider will handle all the server management tasks and optimize your server for better performance allowing you to focus on increasing your productivity.

I don't see any problem in hosting a proxy site on a server which has torrent sites hosted on it, however, you need to make sure that you confirm with the hosting provider regarding the same as most of the hosting providers do not allow torrent and/or proxy sites to be hosted on their servers.

Yes this was the one thing I was going to flag up - they may especially not be happy if the torrent sites are pointing to material elsewhere that is illegal / breach of copyright etc.
