Is there any stable solution to replace Dedicated Hosting ?

Its been eight months I have purchased a dedicated server through a XYZ hosting company. I can't mention their name here as I don't want to spoil their reputation and can't even comment on how reliable their service has been to me, as I have switched over to them a few months ago.

After receiving their service for 8 months I have noticed some issues like downtime several times but for few minutes. I really don't have any issue sticking to dedicated web server with them, however I wanted to know that are there any stable solutions which can replace Dedicated Web Hosting.

Well IMPO, I believe that cloud hosting is the future of online businesses. Just to add my 2p to this - you can have an experience of lots of downtime but it might not necessarily be the fact that you had a dedicated server. It might be that you were with a rubbish host lol.

Thanks for your suggestion, Catherine. But, I am economically weak and looking for a solution that can fit in to my budget. Yes, I know very much about mirroring solution but due to low budget I can't afford it. Cloud solution seems to be a reliable and stable solution.
