@George, you can easily trust Cloud hosting solutions as there are many big brands running on cloud nowadays and many are still migrating to the cloud solution. Cloud provides everything that is required to ensure the smooth functioning of your business or personal website.

    You're

Right. The Cloud Solution is the best possible solution for you. Not only it will offer you the features and benefits you need but it will also be very economical as you need to pay only for the resources you use. The resources can be upgraded at any point of time.

Just to add my 2p to this - you can have an experience of lots of downtime but it might not necessarily be the fact that you had a dedicated server. It might be that you were with a rubbish host lol.

But as has been said, if you need guarenteed 100% uptime then you can always consider eUKhosts Cloud based solutions.

    Hope that helps .

If you can shell out some more amount of money for hosting services, a Dedicated server mirroring solution could be the best solution for you. Though, not scalable like the Cloud solution, this solution also offers 100% uptime guarantee as if one of the server fails, the other takes it's place thus offering 100% uptime guarantee to your websites. However, you will have to confirm with your hosting provider if they offer such a solution.

Indeed, as for the pricing, cloud solution acts as a "pay as you go" solution, so it can be a cost-effective solution for small and medium sized businesses as well. Secondly, the control panel gives you the ability to manage large sites very easily and effortlessly. It is a good way to manage websites if you are not comfortable with the command line.

Yes, cloud server hosting is the stable and emerging solution that might be worth to consider to replace dedicated server hosting solution.

Well IMPO, I believe that cloud hosting is the future of online businesses. Though people have lots of concerns about cloud security, I think that whenever such great technologies are developed, it really takes time to get developed into a fine stage. The technology companies must be looking in to the security issue, about which we might not be hearing.

The smooth scalability and stability are just the next high jump, the hosting industries will take. This is my personal view from the perspective of a webmaster. Cloud server hosting excludes most of the gritty annoying choices and troubles that comes along with web hosting right at the moment.

  • Is there any stable solution to replace Dedicated Hosting ?

Its been eight months I have purchased a dedicated server through a XYZ hosting company. I can't mention their name here as I don't want to spoil their reputation and can't even comment on how reliable their service has been to me, as I have switched over to them a few months ago.

After receiving their service for 8 months I have noticed some issues like downtime several times but for few minutes. I really don't have any issue sticking to dedicated web server with them, however I wanted to know that are there any stable solutions which can replace Dedicated Web Hosting.
Working...
