Domain Transfer from one server to another without losing Emails

I have heard that when transferring a domain, there is a possibility of losing the emails. I have configured my old mailbox in Outlook. What is the best way to transfer a domain without losing the emails?

IMO, you will not lose the emails. When transferring a domain from one dedicated server to another, only the DNS transfer takes place. So, until the new DNS are fully propagated all the new emails will be delivered in the mailbox located on the new web hosting server.

In addition to that, also make sure you have configured the previous Outlook Mailbox to "leave a copy of emails on the old server". It will ensure that when you create the mailbox on the new server in Outlook, all the past emails will be downloaded on the new server and no emails will be lost. Once all the emails are delivered in your new mailbox, you can delete the mailbox created with your previous provider.
