    change over to your servers

We are considering your cPanel Advance Plan. just a couple more questions so we can make the change over as smooth as possible.

    1) Will there be any 'downtime' in between the change over to your servers? If so how long will this be as presumably this will interrupt email service until everything is up and running on your servers and we need to minimize the impact of this.

    2) We use IMAP email which is currently stored on the servers of our hosting provider, when we make the switch will we need to back-up everything from the current server, then reload it to your server or can this be done automatically by you?

Anthony, can you help me out with the control panel you are using with the current Host provider so that I can suggest you accordingly.

After you order the package and migrate the data, you will only need to update the nameservers of the domain. This will cause downtime until the domains are pointed to our servers. Once the domains are pointed, you will have to configure IMAP for the domains as IMAP is supported on all our cPanel hosting plans.

If you have cPanel control panel with the current hosting plan, it will be very easy for you to migrate the data.

Indeed, migration process gets much easier when it is done from one cPanel to another cPanel. Once you have successfully migrated the data to our servers, you won't have to worry about the data safety and backups. On our cPanel Web Hosting we now offer Free daily backup with 7 days retention period. It means an incremental backup of the latest 7 days will be available to restore any time you wish. You can restore it directly through your own cPanel using the "R1Soft Restore Backup" feature.
