To change DNS server in Windows, follow these steps:
1. Open the Control Panel by clicking on the Start menu and selecting Control Panel.
2. Click on Network and Sharing Center.
3. Click on Change adapter settings on the left-hand side of the window.
4. Right-click on the network adapter for which you want to change the DNS server and select Properties.
5. In the Properties window, scroll down and select Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) and click on Properties.
6. In the Internet Protocol Version 4 (TCP/IPv4) Properties window, select Use the following DNS server addresses.
7. Type the IP address of the DNS server that you want to use in the Preferred DNS server field. You can also enter an alternate DNS server in the Alternate DNS server field if you wish.
8. Click OK to save the changes.
Note: You may need to restart your computer or restart the network adapter for the changes to take effect.
