Hey, MYSQL upgrade?

Hi, if I upgrade MYSQL from 5.0 to 5.1 via cPanel WHM. Will it delete all current databases using the MYSQL 5 or simply update.

I don't want to upgrade if my clients databases and accounts are affected.

No, it will not delete any of your previous data however it may affect few sites if any mySQL statement in the script that is no more supported in 5.1. But it can be sorted easily.

It is always good to have couple of backups of all your databases before performing an upgrade.
