    MySQL through dreamweaver

I amtrying to access my MySQL database through dreamweaver but it keeps giving me "Access denied, The file may not exist or there may be a permission problem" i am using the control panel PLESK and as i have been reaing some other threads people are saying i have to add an ip address or a % sign in places. but i cannot do anything like that. i do not even know what my MySQL server is called as it just says "Local MySQL server" so what do i put in dreamweaver as my MySQL server name?
    Thanks

Normally the MySQL server will be the server you are hosted on (xxxxxx.eukhost.com). I'm not sure whether eUKhost allow remote MySQL access, as many don't, so I'd email [email protected] and ask them whether they allow remote MySQL access.

If I recall correctly I am sure other people have had problems with this in the past.

As flesso has said, probably best and easiest to contact eUKhost (namely [email protected]) or start a LiveChat from www.eukhost.com.

      Hope that helps .

You need to get your IP authenticated from "allowed MySQL Server host" section of your cpanel. You have that option in MySQL section. If your IP is dynamic then put "%" over there.
