AdSense vs Amazone Associates?

In your opinion what brings more money? I'm talking here in general because I know that it all depends on the specific niche that you're after.

I'm sticking with Amazon affiliate program because it gives much better conversion rate than Google AdSense plus cross conversion rate is just incredibly swanky, at least in my case!

The conversion depends on quality of traffic and different other factors, I think the Amazon affiliate program should be best for those sites which are getting massive traffic from buyer niche towards retail sales.

I think people generally find AdSense easier to make money from, if only because AdSense pays when people click but amazon only pays when they buy. To make amazon outperform AdSense, you're likely to have to do a lot more than just stick a generic link on your homepage. I'm sure it can be done, though (depending on your niche / visitors).

Silly question here, but couldn't you use both? I've seen sites with AdSense Ads and books placed around that I think come from Amazon, so looks like they have incorporated both. Makes sense, right?

I put both Adsense ads and Amazon affiliate banners on my website, and I notice that the Adsense Ads make me more money than the Amazon banners. The banners have produced a few clicks only and no sales.
