    Yes it's a bit confusing for me also. It's believed that when it comes to link building, quality beats quantity. But WR has a good point also. The most backlink your website has, the more exposure it will get.

    I say go for it. It helps to have your site all over the internet. Even if it is of a lower page rank, it can never hurt. That's my view at least... I submit to all directories via automatic services.

    If you had a website with high page ranking, would you still submit the website to web directories which have lower page ranking than your website does? Do you think it's still worth it?
