How do I solve the eCommerce website page loading speed issue? Is it important in SEO?

    Hello,

I have a small eCommerce website with only 60 product pages. However, the website is a little slow, and the page speed is also slow. I was wondering if page speed is important for Google ranking? If so, how can this be improved?

    Hello,

Page speed is critical for all users and SEO. Because faster pages are more efficient and provide a better on-page user experience, they are preferred. Over a quarter of consumers will click away and choose a different search result if a page takes more than 3 seconds to load.

You can use the following methods to improve and speed up an eCommerce site.
    • Make use of a Content Delivery Network.
    • Redirects should be avoided.
    • Page size should be limited.
    • HTTP requests should be reduced.
    • Look into poor performance.
    • Image Dimensions must be specified.
    • Data compression
    • Use Faster Hosting Servers.

      Hello,

Most eCommerce websites are built on eCommerce platforms, and believe it or not, the platform you use can also effect the speed of your website. So I recommend the following best eCommerce systems for managing your backend smoothly and providing top loading speed: WooCommerce, Shopify, 3DCart, Wix, BigCommerce, Squarespace, and Magento are the best eCommerce platforms that provide good uptime and fast speed to your website.

        Hey,

You can also concentrate on the following factors to improve your website's page speed score.

        1. Switch to a different hosting provider or improve your package.
        2. Minimize HTTP requests
        3. Reduce Time to First Byte (TTFB)
        4. Revision of third-party extensions

Yes, these tips are really helpful to improve the speed of the eCommerce site.

See, to fast load an eCommerce store is quite difficult due to product listing. So, adding fewer resolution images as well as trying to minimize the external CSS and javascript is also a good option.

So, the first tip I can give you on how to speed up your site is to use a fast theme. If you install a theme with perfect code and no bugs, your site will have great speed results. Esynergy also recommends using google tag manager. If you use many e-commerce tools, you know that many of them provide you with lines of code to put on your site. Thus, the more code you add, the slower your site loads. Also, don't forget to optimize your media files and images. The good thing is that you can easily take high-resolution images and reduce their size. Then you can compress them without losing quality.
