  • Hummingbird and Penguin 2.1 ripped it

The recent updates in succession have quite hugely impacted search queries. Traffic also has taken a dip.

    Have you experienced similar occurrences?

What are you doing to recover from it?

Or should you just wait for it to settle down?

Facing something similar. The rankings are not stable at the moment. I would suggest wait for sometime and let things stabilize before making any tweaks to the strategy.

If I start caring about these Google updates then it would be like I am suggesting that search engines are the only source of my website traffic. Massive traffic from search engines is just useless if it doesn’t convert. I’ve seen many instances where website is not doing well in search engines nor getting too much traffic, but in terms sales performing really well. Btw, everybody sees different search results based on their location and search history. So keep calm and including other marketing tactics in your strategy.
