Google Spam Expert Matt cutts tweet early morning "We’ve Taken Action On A Large Guest Blog Network and a reminder about spam risks of guest blogging." After taking actions on Spanish and Italian link building firms the US is now on target and Google specifically went after MyBlogGuest.com.

If you Google their name, it no longer shows up in the search results. Ann Smarty the owner of MyBlogGuest tweet "myblogguest is against paid links and still Google penalized us" and ask matt "I don’t think our publishers will be penalized, but let’s ask @mattcutts "

The link building for your website is really dangerous now what do you think guys? guest blogging will work?

Google had been suggesting that Guest Blogging as an SEO tactic is under the radar and it would be targeted. Not sure if what the site owner claims is true but since it promoted guest blogging Google choose to penalize it.

And as far as link building is concerned you should only concentrate on good quality links for authority sites and anything else would be frowned upon.

You can even Guest blog but not for anchor text linking but as a way to get exposure and link your brand and not the commercial keywords.
