Matt Cutt’s response to Link Removal Overreaction.

With the recent updates in Google Algorithm the issues of removing so called unnatural backlinks had gone to the extent that many webmasters are now even getting links from good sites removed which were created naturally just because they feel Google may penalize them for it.

Google is really making things worse for website owners due to its own incompetency is assessing a website and hence, it constantly keeps updating its algorithm and experimenting with things which make the whole internet go berserk.

What do you think should be done when it comes to SEO and whether people should be buying what Cutt’s has to say?

Google is only confusing people as it cannot give a clear direction. Backlinks are very essential for Google to rank a site and although there needs to be some quality in it backlinks are not going to fade away anytime soon.

Webmasters should not simply go about getting their backlinks just because they feel it is unnatural. If the link is relevant and from a reasonably good site then one should not worry about it.

Yup Google is making the webmasters life difficult these days with these complications.

Are they trying to kill the SEO completely ?

so that webmasters have the only way to get Google visitors through the Google adword campaigns ?

Get a grip. Stop following what Matt Cutt’s says, otherwise you will end up with a brain damage sickness. Every week he comes up with this or that kind of stuff. The time has come when we all need to forget about the existence of Google. Once you determine where your targeted audience is, then you will never need to check stupid rankings.

try DuckDuckgo for few days and see if you get more relevant results on DuckDuckGo or Google. I am seriously thinking of using DuckDuckGo from now onwards.

Google has made us so habitual, that leaving google has become as difficult as giving up smoking.
