    What captcha are you using?

Captcha is more and more frequently used on the Internet nowadays, mostly to avoid bots and spammers. I've noticed that the most popular type is the reCaptcha one (created by Google, I think...). However, some people prefer to generate their own Captcha images by using a PHP Captcha script, which sometimes leads to words that are really difficult to read / understand...

What style of Captcha do you prefer to use?

I found one on a new site recently. When it's time to post, instead of "Post Reply" a box appears that says either "Click on the biggest square" or "Click on the perfect circle". I really like it because you don't have to guess what the fuzzy letters or numbers are. I don't know how to get it, though.

Tiffany, that sounds like a good alternative to regular Captcha. I think it would be preferred by the web owners as well as the users. Some Catcha is really hard to guess even for genuine members like us.

I like the captcha that Rapidshare used to have last year. It was an image-based captcha which showed several drawings of animals (cats, mostly), together with some letters and numbers, and you had to type how many cats were in the picture... or something like that...

I thought it was rather creative...
