deprecated tags

I've been reading about deprecated tags and most web authorities agree that browsers will continue to support them. When you think about it, they would have to or the web would practically fall apart. Most websites will not be overhauled to reflect the changes in HTML and there are tens of millions of websites that have tags that are deprecated.

Have you ever updated one of your sites because of tags that are deprecated? I don't think I ever will. It seems like a waste of time since many websites with deprecated tags have some of the best traffic on the web!

Deprecated tags just mean they're not part of the syntax in updated versions of HTML. Browsers will continue showing the websites with the tags as they were written in the earlier versions.
