If you a have domain held with us but don’t have an account this could be for various reasons.

  • You may have purchased your domain through a reseller
  • You may have purchased your domain through a friend, colleague or family member.

In the first instance you must contact the company or person that registered the domain, they will be able to arrange transfer of ownership or renew via their client area.

If the company or individual that registered the domain is not contactable you can do the following:

  1. First check who the listed owner is for the domain, you can do this my by performing a whois lookup here http://checkwhois.com/
    1. If the domain is registered to you as an individual you can proceed with contacting us.
    2. If the domain registered to a business you must be an authorised representative of that business (owner, director, senior manager etc),
Important: If the domain is not registered in your name or to a company you are an authorised representative of, please do not contact us. Instead have the registered owner or authorised company representative contact us instead.

If the domain is registered to you as an individual (non business entity)

  1. Please contact us with the domain at [email protected] and provide a contact email and phone number, you will be required to give us permission to share these details with the account holder.
    1. We will attempt to contact the account holder and request they contact you to resolve the issue directly.
  2. If the account holder does not respond immediately we will communicate with them via our ticketing system and give them 14 days to respond.
  3. If after 14 days the account holder has not responded you can request a transfer of the domain to your own account with us.

    2. Login and go to Support > Open ticket
    3. Open a new ticket and confirm you wish to transfer the domain to your account.
    4. We will contact you at the email or phone number the domain is registered to and confirm your identity.
    5. We will raised an intention to transfer request with the existing account holder and give them 48 to respond, during this time they may dispute the transfer (for example if there is an outstanding payment due for the domain)
    6. If no dispute is filed we will transfer the domain to your account within 48 hours.

If the domain is registered to a business

  1. Contact us with the domain at [email protected] and provide a contact email and phone number, you will be required to give us permission to share these details with the account holder.
    1. We will attempt to contact the account holder and request they get in touch with you directly to resolve the issue.
  2. If the account holder does not respond immediately we will communicate with them via our ticketing system and give them 14 days to respond.
  3. If after 14 days the account holder has not responded you can request a transfer of the domain to your own account with us.

    4. We will verify your company details and contact you on the officially listed company details.
    5. Once verified we will raise an intention to transfer request with the existing account holder and give them 48 to respond, during this time they may dispute the transfer (for example if there is an outstanding payment due for the domain)
    6. If no dispute is filed we will transfer the domain to your account usually within 48 hours.
