Transferring domain name(s) from 123-Reg

Most people are really concerned when transferring domain names, but to be honest, the process is really simple, so there is nothing to worry about.

If you wish to keep your domain management via 123-Reg, you can simply update your domain nameservers, so that your domain will point to your hosting plan with eUKhost.

An example of some eUKhost nameservers are as follows:

ns1.eukhost.com
ns2.eukhost.com

These nameservers are primary examples, and should not be used unless specifically stated.

Nameserver change instructions:

Transferring your website from 123-Reg is really simple! You can either ask our support team, and they will be able to transfer your existing website(s) over, or you can do the process manually by following the instructions below:

Step 1: Login to the FTP account on your 123-Reg hosting account

Step 2: Select the files you wish to transfer

Step 3: Drag the files onto an appropriate folder onto your computer

Step 4: Login to your eUKhost FTP account (These details will be provided to you upon signup)

Step 5: Drag all of the files from your computer to either the public_html folder (for linux shared cpanel hosting plans) or www (for windows shared hosting plans).

[alert]Note: This does not transfer any of your MySQL databases, e-mail accounts etc. If you have any of these you wish to restore, you will need to restore them via cPanel on the eUKhost server – however, eUKhost will be happy to assist you in any way possible to help you get on your feet. [/alert]
