Domains 'Domains' features lists all the domains hosted under your account, you can also use this function to create or modify domains and check their Statistics & Traffic Usage.   Domain Templates Domain Templates help you to create and modify templates with regards to overuse limits, domain setup, hosting setup and other preferences like mailing list. Domain templates allow you to pre-configure as many hosting plans as you like. When it's time to set up a new hosting account, simply choose a template and all the features and limits for the new account are automatically set up.     Virtual Host Template The Virtual Host Template allows you to configure the Panel to automatically include specific files and directories into web spaces created for newly hosted websites. This includes templates of the default error docs and httpdocs which will be created under a new domain by default.         Mail Accounts - Mail account lets you create new POP accounts, enable mail forwarding, create mailing lists etc. It also displays a list of mails accounts already created and in use. You may add, modify, and delete mail accounts from here. This function also includes management of email accounts as well as the link to the webmail panel. Mail account settings help in activating webmail and mail server for a domain.   Create Mail Account Create Mail Account function lets you create new email accounts on the hosted domains. You can choose the email address, set the password and also define the mailbox quota of each account here.     Create Redirect Create Redirect function lets you automatically forward or redirect emails received on particular email address configured to a different email address. For example, you might have sales@yourdomain.com automatically redirected to your sales person's personal email address, and support@yourdomain.com redirected to your support person's personal email address, and so on. You can also have redirects set up to send email to more than one address.   Create Autoresponder Create Autoresponder function when configured enables you to send custom pre written messages automatically to email addresses from which you have received emails from. Once an Autoresponder is set for your mail account, it will automatically return that prewritten message to anyone who sends e-mail to your e-mail address. This is usually popular for out of office or on vacation notifications.     Mailing Lists Mailing lists can simplify sending messages to a large group of people. You can add a group of email addresses to a mailing list to avoid typing those addresses each time you send a message. You can configure specific settings for your list once it is created.   Virus Protection Virus Protection checks all the incoming and outgoing emails for virus and other infections. You can activate this utility per e-mail address via your Plesk control panel. You can check the webmail for any account by logging into https://yourdomain.com:8443 with the full username (user@yourdomain.com) and password for the email account.     File Manager - If you do not have an FTP program with you, the Plesk File Manager can act as a suitable web-based replacement. From the Plesk, you can control all of your files and folders just as you would if you were using a real FTP client. File Manager lists all the directories under the parent directory for your domain. You may add, modify, and delete them from File Manager.   FTP Accounts FTP accounts allow you to access your website's files through a protocol called FTP. You will need a third-party FTP program to access your files. You can log into via FTP by entering yourdomain.com as your FTP host and the username and password of the account you wish to log into. Besides the default FTP user, if you wish to create additional FTP accounts, you may use this feature and assign it to a root or any subdirectory for your domain.     Password Protected Directories Password Protect Directories function allow you to require a username and password to access a folder or folders from the web. This function can be very useful when you need to limit access to a certain part of your site. It acts as a layer of authentication so that important directories don't have anonymous access.   Virtual Directories Virtual Directories feature helps in creation and configuration of virtual directories required by ASP applications. A virtual directory in Plesk is a link to existing physical directory that is present on the server's hard disk. Virtual directories can have a number of specific settings like custom ASP.NET configuration, access permissions, URL password protection, and so on. Since any virtual directory can have its own settings, including customized ASP.NET configuration, virtual directories are very useful in setting up your web applications, especially those written in ASP.NET.     Backup Manager Getting Started Wizard allows you to manage different aspects of your website, including your files, security, email, web applications, and much more. It will introduce you to some of the concepts behind web hosting and allow you to configure some basic settings for your website so that you can start bringing traffic (visitors) to your site.         Web Stastistics You can enable Web statistics to gather information about traffic coming to your website(s). To access these functions, click the Log Manager icon on the Domain Administration page. You can view, save and delete log files from here. You can also define the number of log file's lines to be displayed at once.     Personal Data Personal Data stores information such as Company Name, Contact Name, Login information, Phone, Email Address and Physical Address. You can save or edit the information yourself anytime.   Change Password Change your Plesk Control Panel Password anytime using this function. Enter your "New Password" in the text box in front of "Password". Click on "OK" once you have entered the password. You need to enter the same Password 2 times in the Password field.     Interface Preferences - With Interface Preferences, Plesk allows to set up system-wide preferences, such as the number of lines displayed on the pages containing the lists (i.e.: Domains List, Clients List, etc.), set default interface language (English is set by default), customize Control Panel appearance by selecting a skin, enable/disable checking for mailboxes passwords in the vocabulary to ensure they are not easy to guess, set the Apache server restart interval and adjust server-wide statistics calculation.   Control Panel Branding - With Control Panel Branding, you can add your own logo and title to the Plesk control panel in place of the standard Parallels Plesk Panel logo. You can display your own text in the web browser's title bar and enter your own caption in the Parallels Plesk Panel's title bar text box. You can also upload your own corporate logo.     Permissions Permissions function provides a list of features you can use under your Windows shared hosting account as set by our Server Administrators.		Web Hosting Settings Web Hosting Settings lets you configure your hosting account settings and assign PHP, ASP and .NET framework to a domain. You can also assign a dedicated pool for your domain through this function.   Subdomains Subdomains function helps you add/modify/delete sub-domains under a main domain. Subdomains are URLs for different sections of your website. They use your main domain name and a prefix. For example, if your domain is mydomain.com a sub-domain of your domain might be support.mydomain.com. Subdomains are relative to your account's home directory.     Domains Aliases Domain alias function in Plesk lets you add additional domains without ever increasing the limit or number of domains in your hosting account. This is great if you want to secure all of the top level domain names for your brand or business. For example, if you run yourbusiness.com and you wish to register and use yourbuisness.net, yourbuiness.org, yourbusiness.biz, etc. you could set them all up as domain aliases.   DNS Settings Through DNS Settings function in Plesk, you can customize DNS settings for each domain created. DNS settings helps add/modify/deleted DNS records for a domain you may set A, MX, SPF, NS, CNAME etc records for your domain(s).     Web Users The "Web Users" function allows you to create a seperate hosting area in your website for individual users. It is used to define locations for personalized web pages with individual FTP access. The result of creating a web user is a subdirectory within your domain (e.g. domain.com/~webuser). For example, if your domain is domain.com and web user is 'Mary,' the web user would have a separate login for domain.com/~mary.   Site Preview Site preview is a tool provided in Plesk to view the websites before domain propagation. Site Preview feature helps you check if the website is working by giving it a temporary url for checking the domain functionality even when the website does not resolve from the server.     Web Applications Web Applications function helps install a variety of custom applications on the hosted domain(s).   Tools From PyPlesk.com MyPlesk.com is the easiest way to acquire and manage the additional tools you need to operate a great website. If your account has more than one IP address or is on more than one network interface, you can use the IP Addresses function in order to control IP addresses on system network interfaces.   Scheduled Tasks If you need to run scripts on your hosting account at specific time, use the Scheduled Tasks facility on your account within Plesk to make the system automatically run the scripts for you.     SSL Certificates SSL Certificates function provides a list of SSL certificates configured for your domains. You can view the currently configured certificates as well as add new certificates through here. You can also generate a CSR for new certificate through this wizard.   Hotlink Protection A "hot link" is a file on your site loaded directly from another site. Sometimes this is okay, but it is generally acceptable only if you request permission. Hotlinking without permission steals your bandwidth (sometimes known as "leeching"). Images are commonly hotlinked. Plesk allows you to configure hotlink protecting by file type, per directory, on a per-domain basis and is configured via the .htaccess file.     Active Sessions Through Active Sessions function, you can view active sessions in the Plesk control panel and on the FTP server from within the Plesk control panel.   Bandwidth Limiting Bandwidth Limiting lets you view and adjust bandwidth for a particular domain and the amount of connections to it. In case of limiting the use of bandwidth, it is also recommended that you also limit the number of simultaneous connections to the site. Otherwise, in case of frequent requests to the site, the Web server processes might increase the server load.     IIS Application Pool IIS Application Pool contains all web applications installed on your sites. IIS Application Pool also helps manage IIS pools for your hosted domain(s).   Custom Buttons The Custom Button utility is used to create custom buttons and manage their properties (interface location, button names, URLs, context help messages, and other parameters) through CLI. Design of the eUKhost Network

We base our network around two locations to provide the ultimate in redundancy for disaster recovery and business continuity purposes. With a majority of our client websites hosted on a 100Gbps network out of a Tier 4 data centre location in Maidenhead, Berkshire, we are able to utilise our second Milton Keynes data centre for the hosting of backup servers that will contain backups of all eUKhost servers for the purpose of disaster recovery.

A BGP network that is fully redundant in nature is provided by Simply Transit, with two hardware vendors providing redundancy at both network and hardware level. Two 10 Gigabit networks form the basis of our Level 2 network \96 Extreme Networks and Foundry Networks are the suppliers that we use to achieve this additional connectivity. The Level 2 network is used to run two independent IP Transit networks (AS29550 and AS34920) on multiple Cisco 7606-S RSP720 and 6509 SUP720 routers; these routers are hosted at multiple locations around London to ensure that redundancy is built directly into our network infrastructure.
