Git keeps track of the changes you make to files so you can see what you’ve done and go back to earlier forms if you need to. It is a version control system.
Git Repository allows you to create a repository into your cPanel account using the “Git Version Control” feature. And this is what we are going to find in this article.
Let us go through the steps of creating:
1. Log in to the cPanel account.
2. Search for the “Git Version Control” in the “Files” section.
3. Click on the “create” button.
4. Enable the toggle if you want to clone a remote repository, or disable it to create a new repository.
5. In the “Clone URL” box of the page, paste the git repository’s clone URL.
6. The repository’s file path must be specified in the next step.
Note: It’s important to remember that the cloned repository has its directory.
7. In the “Repository name” box, type in the name of the repository.
8. Next, enter a name for the repository in the “Repository Name” section.
9. Finally click on the “Create” button.
This way, using the “Git Version Control” tool, you can add a repository to your cPanel account. Please contact eukhost customer support team if you require any assistance.
