How to Connect to a Web Disk with Third-Party Software

cPanel’s Web Disk interface offers configuration scripts for various operating systems, applications, and devices. Script availability is based on your server’s cPanel & WHM version.

Follow these steps to download the configuration script for a supported operating system or application:

1. Log into “cPanel” as root.
   
2. From the “Files”, click on “Web Disk”.
   
3. Select “Configure Client Access” for the desired account.
   
4. Choose your preferred connection type from the available menus.
   
5. Select “Download Configuration Script” to obtain the configuration script.
   
6. “Save” file and store the file on your local computer.
7. If your system will not uncompress it automatically, unzip the .zip configuration script file.
8. Search for the Secure WebDisk file with the hostname, which corresponds to your server’s specific hostname.
9. Open the file and execute it to configure Web Disk.
