How to Change the Settings of Recursive DNS Queries in Plesk

This article explains how to change the settings for the recursive DNS (domain name service) in Plesk control panel.

Let us follow these steps:

  1. Log in to Plesk.

  2. Select the “Tools & settings” option.

  3. Click on the “DNS Settings”.

  4. Select the “Server-wide settings” tab.

  5. You will find the “Recursive DNS queries” option.Recursive DNS queries
  6. You will find three options. Select as per your requirement.

    • Allow for all requests
    • Allow for requests from local network(s) only
    • Allow for local requests only

  7. Finally click on the “Ok” button.ok
  8. You will get a success message.
