User privileges control what actions a user can perform within a database. Using the Plesk Panel, you can easily manage and update privileges for MariaDB database users to ensure the right level of access is granted.
Follow the steps:
- Log in to Plesk.
- Select Databases.
- This will display a list of all operational databases within your Plesk account, along with related options.
- Click on the User Management tab to view all active database users.
- Click on the username for the account you wish to modify.
- A user settings form will appear with various customisation options.
- Scroll down to the Privileges section, which is divided into:
Data Access (e.g., SELECT, INSERT, UPDATE)
Structure Access (e.g., CREATE, ALTER, DROP) - Check or uncheck the boxes to set the appropriate permissions.
- Once your adjustments are complete, click OK to apply the new settings.
