This guide explains how to fix the web server redirect issue where domains are redirected to the server hostname in WHM. Follow the article to resolve the problem and ensure websites load correctly.
Let us follow the steps below:
- Log in to WHM.
- Choose the “Server Configuration” option from the menu on the side.
- Select the “Tweak Settings” option.

- Choose the “Redirection” option under “Tweak Settings”.

- Tick the On button next to “Choose the closest matched domain for which the system has a valid certificate when redirecting from non-SSL to SSL URLs”. Formerly known as “Always redirect to SSL/TLS”.

Set the following options:
Non-SSL redirect destination: Origin Domain Name
SSL redirect destination: SSL Certificate Name
- Finally, click on the Save button.

- WHM will save your settings and start updating them.
