How to setup the configuration cluster in WHM March 23, 2022

The Configuration Cluster in WHM allows you to synchronise configuration files across multiple cPanel & WHM servers. This is useful for maintaining consistent settings such as DNS zones, packages, and feature lists across a server cluster.

To set up the configuration cluster in WHM, follow the steps:

1. Log in to WHM.
   
2. Select the “Cluster” category from the left-hand side of the screen.
   
3. Click on the “Configuration Cluster” under the “Cluster” option, and you will be redirected to a new page. 
   
4. Click on the “Create” button.
   
5. You will find a form-type page named “Add server”:
   1.  Server Name: Type the server name in this column.
   2. User: Enter the user.
   3. API Token or Remote Access Key: Paste the server’s remote access key here.
6. Click on the Save button.
