How to Include or Exclude a Domain from AutoSSL in cPanel

This article explains how to include or exclude a domain from AutoSSL in cPanel. Including or excluding a domain from AutoSSL in cPanel allows you to control which domains receive automatic SSL certificates, especially when using custom certificates or managing inactive or development domains.

To include a Domain in AutoSSL, follow the steps:

  1. Log in to your cPanel account.
  2. Navigate to the “Security” section and click “SSL/TLS Status.”

  3. Under Domain, select the desired domain(s).
  4. Click “Include 1 Domain during AutoSSL” to enable AutoSSL for the selected domains or subdomains, as shown below.

  5. You will get a success message as shown below.

To Exclude a Domain from AutoSSL:

  1. In the SSL/TLS Status section, check the domain(s) you want to exclude.
  2. Click “Exclude 1 Domain from AutoSSL” as shown below.

  3. You will get a success message.

Note: Only domains previously included in AutoSSL can be excluded.
