In this tutorial, we will explain to you how to manage users in Wheel groups in WHM.
On a Linux system, adding a user’s username to the wheel group allows them to swap users while connected to the shell (provided they know the user’s password). This includes the root user, who has full control over the server.
Follow the steps:
- Log in to WHM.
- Select the “Security Center” option from the left-hand side of the screen.
- Click on the “Manage Wheel Group Users” sub-option.
- Now, you will find two boxes.
- Select the users and click on the “Add to group” button to add them to the Wheel group.
- Select the users and click on the “Remove from Group” button to remove them from the Wheel group.
- You will receive a success message for both processes.
