Unveils

With technology evolving at a rapid pace, businesses that want to stay ahead of their competitors need to take advantage of the latest advancements. With AI now being integrated into applications from websites and customer-facing apps to medical diagnostics, logistics and plant operation software, the need to store more data and process it at speed, with improved efficiency and performance, is greater than ever. With these needs in mind, eukhost has launched a new range of next-gen dedicated servers that are designed to meet customers’ most demanding requirements. In this post, we take a look at the new server specifications and highlight the benefits these bring.

Professional 2448 8 Core vs Enterprise 4210 10 Core

Our Professional 2448 8 Core dedicated servers are a huge advancement over our existing Enterprise 4210, 10 Core servers. The new HPE DL20 Gen 11 model features an 8-core Intel Xeon E-2488 CPU compared to the older model’s 10-core Intel Xeon Silver 4210 CPU. While the number of cores is reduced, the new server’s cores operate at 3.2GHz / 5.6GHz turbo in comparison to the older model’s 2.2GHz / 3.2GHz turbo, resulting in a huge improvement in CPU mark score, from 13457 to 29795. Single thread ratings are also improved, rising from 1725 in the Enterprise 4210 model to 4272 in the new Professional 2448 server. Furthermore, while both servers offer 2 x 960GB Enterprise SATA SSD storage and 64GB RAM, the RAM in the new model is upgraded to DDR5 from the previous DDR4.

Benefits of upgrading to Professional 2448 8 Core

Our Professional 2448 8 Core’s Intel Xeon E-2488 CPU provides customers with significantly increased processing power and single-thread performance. What’s more, with substantial improvements in both the CPU mark (29795) and single-thread rating (4272), it drastically reduces latency, making it ideal for applications requiring high-speed data processing. Single thread performance is particularly important for web applications, especially those built using PHP, making this server ideal for running websites and other online apps. The upgrade to DDR5 RAM, meanwhile, provides users with better data rates and improved power efficiency, thus helping to enhance the system’s overall performance.

Enterprise 6426Y 16 Core vs Enterprise 4210 20 Core

For organisations requiring even more powerful server performance, our new Enterprise 6426Y 16 Core server offers a huge step forward compared to the older Enterprise 4210 20 Core model. The HPE DL360 Gen10 model has been upgraded to the HPE DL380 Gen11, and the dual Intel Xeon Silver 4210 CPUs have been replaced by a single but much more powerful Intel Xeon Gold 6426Y CPU. Again, the total number of cores has been reduced, this time from 20 to 16, but the speed at which each core operates has improved from 2.2GHz / 3.2GHz turbo in the old model to 2.5GHz / 4.1GHz turbo in the new server. As a result, the Enterprise 6426Y has a CPU mark score of 38159, considerably outperforming the older score of 26914. The single thread rating is also improved, at 2714 compared to 1725.

There are also important improvements in RAM and storage. The new Enterprise 6426Y not only has twice as much RAM, 128GB instead of 64GB, but it also uses DDR5 instead of DDR4. Storage has also been increased and improved. The storage capacity has been doubled from 1.92TB to 3.84TB, with the storage technology upgraded from 2 x 960GB SATA SSDs to 2 x 1.92TB Enterprise NVMe SSDs.

Benefits of upgrading to Enterprise 6426Y 16 Core

Compared to the old Enterprise 4210 model, the new Enterprise 6426Y 16 Core server enables customers to benefit from superior multi-core and single-thread performance, as well as enhanced memory capabilities. The remarkable CPU mark score of the Intel Xeon Gold 6426Y CPU (38159) together with the higher single-thread rating of 2714, ensures that resource-intensive tasks are handled with far more efficiency. Moreover, with twice the memory and storage, and by upgrading to DDR5 RAM and NVME SSD, organisations can future-proof themselves for the increasingly complex demands of modern, advanced applications. DDR5 is ideal for AI and ML workloads, offering faster speeds, greater capacity and increased bandwidth, while NVMe SSDs offer faster read/write speeds, thus reducing latency and increasing I/O performance.

Enterprise 6426Y 32 Core vs Enterprise NVMe 4210R 20 Core

For ultimate server performance, our new Enterprise 6426Y 32 Core model offers a state-of-the-art specification. Compared to the older HPE DL360 Gen10 model, the Enterprise 6426Y’s HPE DL380 Gen11 model offers 32 Cores running at 2.5GHz / 4.1GHz turbo, up from 2.4GHz / 3.2GHz turbo. This more than doubles the CPU mark score from 30264 to an eye-watering 76318. Single thread ratings are also increased from 1794 to 2714.

The new server also sees the previous model’s 128GB RAM upgraded from DDR4 to DDR5, while the 2 x 960GB Enterprise NVMe SSD storage capacity is doubled to 2 x 1.92TB Enterprise NVMe SSDs.

Benefits of upgrading to Enterprise 6426Y 32 Core

Our Enterprise 6426Y 32 Core server pushes the boundaries in delivering high-performance multi-core processing. With an exceptional CPU Mark score of 76318 and 32 cores running at up to 4.1GHz turbo, it easily handles parallel workloads, big data and virtualisation, while the combination of Intel Xeon Gold CPUs, DDR5 memory and doubled NVMe storage capacity offers unrivalled speed and efficiency. For organisations requiring robust infrastructure for their mission-critical applications, the Enterprise 6426Y 32 Core is an ideal solution.
