How to Deactivate a plugin for WordPress using the WP Toolkit

September 17, 2024 / WordPress

This post walks through the process of deactivating a plugin that is installed on a WordPress website using the WP Toolkit. To deactivate a plugin, utilise the WP Toolkit if you are unable to access the WordPress backend. A plugin cannot be removed from your website; it will only block any content or services it offers from loading when disabled.

Follow the steps:

  1. Log in to Plesk.
  2. From the menu on the left, select “WordPress.”
