What Is a Subscription System User in Plesk?
In Plesk, each subscription is assigned a system user with specific permissions. This user controls access to the subscription’s web files and related resources within the server environment.
Let us follow the steps:
- Log in to Plesk.
- Go to the Subscriptions option.

- Select a subscription whose system username you wish to change.

- Select the Hosting & DNS tab and click on the Hosting option as shown below.

- A form will appear from the left-hand side of the screen. Scroll down until you find System User’s Credentials.

- Change the name of the system user in the Username field.
- Click on the Save button.
