This guide explains how to take in the trash folder data in email disk quota calculations. As this option is disabled by default, you can enable it by following the steps given below.
Steps:
- Log in to WHM.
- Select the “Service Configuration” category and click on the “Mailserver Configuration”.
- Check in the box named as “Include trash in Quota”.
- Scroll down and click on the “Save Changes” button.
- Execute the following command using SSH as the root user or you can use the WHM terminal for calculating the changes-
/usr/local/cpanel/scripts/generate_maildirsize –allaccounts –confirm
